Sponsorship request

Monday, 28 March 2011

www.sagoodnews.co.za has been in existence for six years now. We have posted over 6000 positive stories of developments in South Africa and written over 300 original newsletters. We are read in 190 countries around the world by some 60 to 80 000 unique users every month, with 150 000 visits. On average our users spend 30 -45 minutes on the site.

The South African Narrative

There is no doubt we are making a contribution to a more balanced South African narrative by focusing on the many positive developments and significant achievements that take place every week. We respect the role of the media, but we feel strongly that "news" is not just "bad news". We believe that the "truth" of our country is represented by both the good and the bad.

You the readers have proved beyond doubt that there is an appetite for what we do and that "good news" sells!

FNB Sponsorship

For the past six years FNB has been our sole sponsor and have been magnanimous in their support. Without them we could not have done the work we do. But like most organisations in these difficult times they have had to trim their sponsorship budget.

For us to continue delivering the high quality of service that www.sagoodnews.co.za represents we need additional corporate sponsors.

Invitation to Sponsor

We invite those organizations that are in the consumer market; who believe in the power of their brand; who know that having a positive view of the future is important to their business, and who would like to associate themselves with our work to contact us if they are interested in becoming a sponsor.

Branding Opportunity

We are confident that we can, through www.sagoodnews.co.za, provide many benefits associated with such sponsorship, after all we are online every month to +/- 80 000 techno-savvy users, we are on radio (SAfm, 702 and RSG) every week, we do approximately 40-50 "SA Global Competitiveness" talks every year, mostly to the corporate sector, and we are in the process of working on a 27 part TV series and finally, we are in the process of developing a mobile strategy to enable us to reach 40 000 000 South African cell phone users. The opportunities for consumer awareness are significant.

Compliments for the SA Good News website

I've been following with admiration the good work that you and your team does on SA Good News. You guys are doing a fabulous job there.
Patrick Majozi

Thank you for the excellent coverage I receive every Friday. I am more relaxed than I have ever been and actually like Jacob Zuma the more I see of him. I have and always will be EXTREMELY PROUDLY SOUTH AFRICAN.
Denise Cornish

Brilliant, you have hit the nail on the head, thank you for putting it so well onto paper. I believe there are so many of us who love this country, do not consider emigration an option, look for the positive against a tidalwave of critisim etc etc. I, for one, shall be mailing your letter out to friends and family in South Africa and abroad and am sure it will make, at the very least, a small difference, thanks again.
Ayesha Cantor

Thank you for your wonderful "Good News" every week, I do love our country and think it's fantastic what you do! Congratulations on a brilliant idea!
Janine Coelho

I enjoy your very balanced 'Good News' reports. We all live in hope for a better SA and your positive perceptions are what are helping us to plan our return next year. Don't stop!
Mike Gleave

I believe we have an awesome country with lots of potential, it is so refreshing to read such positve news.
Louise West

Great "Good News" yet once again and so enjoy the daily feeds - you are doing tremendous work and I just love my inspiration for a day and week ... As soon as I get the Good News I send it on to friends and family so that we can all be positive about the wonderful country that we live in.
Jeanne Edmunds

Thanks … for your newsletter. I love South Africa so much - we have the most brilliant country in the world - and it is so nice to know that there are other people out there who think the same. Sometimes it feels like I am fighting a tsunami on my own by standing up for South Africa! The nicest thing now is that when people moan about something in South Africa - I normally have one of your newsletters that deal with the issue with the real facts and then I email it on to all those anti-SA people and then they have nothing to say!
