Rolling Stones turned on by SA's New Porn

Friday, 22 June 2007
SA rock band New Porn, led by Arno Carstens of Springbok Nude Girls fame, will be the opening act for the Rolling Stones in Spain tomorrow.

This could be the turning point for the singer in his bid to break onto the international stage, as he and his band New Porn open for what is considered to be one of the greatest rock bands of all time.

SA Good News
Arno Carstens and New Porn have a massive chance to put their name on the international map

The news has come out of the blue, as the decision to stage them was a recent one following their superb performance at the Isle of Wight Festival, where the Stones were the main act.

Carstens and his outfit New Porn were put on the Stone’s radar after their inimitable live performing ability at the festival two weeks back.

Carstens and New Porn will be the main support act for the Rolling Stones' June 23rd gig in San Sebastian, Spain at the Estadio De Anoeta - which means they will be the last act to perform before Mick and Keith hit the stage.
