The Killers are coming to SA

Multi-award winning American alternative rock band The Killers have announced that they will be playing in Cape Town and Johannesburg in December.

Image: www.thekillersmusic.comThe group - singer Brandon Flowers, guitarist Dave Keuning, bass player Mark Stoermer and drummer Ronnie Vannucci Jr. - formed in 2002.

Their debut album release ‘Hot Fuss’ catapulted them onto the global stage upon its 2004 release going four times platinum and spawning hit singles such as ‘Mr Brightside’, All These Things That I’ve done’ and ‘Somebody Told Me’.

The band has received seven nods from The Grammy’s and won a variety of MTV, BRIT and NME Awards.

They have headlined some of the biggest festivals in the world including Glastonbury, Reading/Leeds and Pukkelpop, and have sold out prestigious venues such as Madison Square Garden in New York.

The Killers will play at Cape Town's Val De Vie Wine and Polo Estate on 6 December and Johannesburg's Coca Cola Dome on 9 December.
