This series of paintings were created by Esther in 2004 and will be exhibited publicly for the first time on the 2nd March 2017 at The Melrose Gallery. Esther was inspired by Mr Nelson Mandela to create this series of paintings and calls this the ‘most moving collaboration of her long and illustrious career’.
It would be wonderful if you could assist in promoting this important exhibition, this inspirational artist and moving South African success story as widely as possible.
Esther and Dr Makaziwe will attend the VIP launch at 7pm on the 1st March to officially unveil the collection. This event is by invitation only. We would like to invite some senior government representatives to this event and would appreciate any assistance that you could provide in this regard. The VIP invite will be ready on Tuesday.
The public is invited to attend the public launch on the 2nd March at 7pm and will have the opportunity to meet Esther.
