Chris Froome became Britain’s first three-time winner of the Tour de France when he crossed the finish line of the 21-stage race in Paris on Sunday.
But while Froome rides for Britain, he went to school in South Africa – St John’s in Johannesburg – which celebrated his victory.
All the pupils turned up in the yellow jersey in his honour – the school is also growing its own cycling talent. BBC’s Karen Allen spoke to Froome’s former teachers and current students.
